i lied

i know what i said this post would be but for some reason i felt compeled to right on this topic. Now im not too political but i do have my opinions. I came across this blog the other day called "Why Are You A Conservative" i deceided that it was probably a bunch of overly rightwing bunch of crap. I started reading it, but it turned out to be an American Conservative defending the American left. He wrote on the war in Iraq, as most of America seems to be infatuated with. He (the blogger) made some very sweeping remarks, such as his definition of a terrorist. He said that a terrorist was someone that used violence or fear to bring about a political view. This i had to disagree with, infact i don't know anyone that would agree with that definition. My definition of a terrorist is someone that uses fear to bring about change. Terrorists do not need to use violence to cause fear. Also if you look at the most famous terrorist attack in history (9/11) those terrorists had no political agenda. They were attacking the american way of life and the american ideal system. That is why they chose the twin towers. The World Trade Centre is a symbol of power to someone that is not american, it is the American dollar. To destroy that symolically destroys america.
Another issue that was raised was nuclear proliferation. That is basically making nuclear arms for yourself. Americans seem to be under this spell that no one in the world but them should have nuclear weapons. They feel no one else could be trusted with them. Now if you look back on history, what is the only country to use nuclear arms against a human poplulation. The only country that you will find is the USA. America is single handly the only country to slaughter thousands of lives at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Now if you ask me, based on the aggressiveness of certain countries, who should really have a nuclear bomb? North Korea who has been involved in one war in the past century, or a nation birthed out of conflict of war and one that has never really left the state of war. The US has know more times of war than of peace in the last 100 years. This has to do with their overly aggressive foreign policy.
Finaly i felt that i had to make my one wacko point. I fell back on the point of terrorism. Using the bloggers definition of a terrorist. America is in a constant state of readyness and fear. They are just waiting for the next big one. They are in the palm of the governments hand. The government changes a colour code and everyone freaks out. If you ask me the American Government are terrorists. They keep the american people in fear while they maneouver around wherever they want. And like a flash back to the times of Hitler the Bush administration now uses the faceless terrorist to blame everything on instead of the Jew.
Hey the blog is called Rambling of a Madman
