Whoa! Mushareef just stepped down as the head of the Pakistani Army. That's huge! He's giving up a lot of power in doing this. Previous to this he held control of the parliment AND the military. It was practically a dictatorship.The guys a real jerk actually. He's had Pakistan under 'emergency powers' for too long, to be honest i'll admit my ignorance to why. Its quite important that he gave up these powers, im sure its more symbollic than anything, and the head of the army will still probably do whatever the heck Mushareef wants, but he does have the right to say no now.
