what hurts the most
is being so close, and having her walk away, and having so much to say. And never knowing what could have been, and not seeing that love in you, is what i was trying to do.Have you ever been told something that actually makes you feel like you've been hit with a bat. This happened today. It hurts, it throbs, i don't think it will go away easily.
I spent a lot of time in prayer today, and that was comforting.
I don't know the last time i cried before today, but it has been a long time.

Ah, Don. Rejection is one of the most painful experiences in life. I suppose it happens to everyone now and again, but it doesn't make it any easier. You're an amazing person. This kind of thing heals with time. It seems impossible that you'd ever forget about such a thing now, but it will happen at some point. Scary? Kind of. All I can tell you for sure is that you are so worthy of love. You'll find it.
