Community Day
So our school had community day on tuesday. Now i know that sounds dorky and lame, but it was actually really really good. This school really focuses on personal relationship building, and that is something that i quite enjoy. I have been stuggling with getting to know people as i am a commuter student and a lot of people live in res. Community Day though brought us together and gave us a chance to just hang out.Because our program was with the Christian Studies and Theology students we met at a church downtown and had a time of worship and a couple sermons, but then we had a realy cool communion time. We actually gave communion to each other and prayed for each other at the same time. It was one of the few times where " the church" has not been a building but a body.
After that we went and chilled at bowness park in calgary here. We cooked hotdogs and had some other food. Btw... boiling hotdogs over the fire kind of loses the purpose of having a fire in the first place.
